Thursday through Sunday at the convention, fans can stop by the Fifth Avenue Landing immediately behind the convention center for an “unhinged” carnival activation. Attendees will find a variety of rides and attractions inspired by the series, including Mr. Johnson’s Closet of Curiosities, Gregory’s Garden Goofballs, and the Principal Ava-inspired swing ride “Finest One in, First One Out”. Additional fun includes Barbara’s “Blessed and Pressed”, Melissa’s MVP Showdown, Janine’s “Reach for the Stars” challenge, and a quirky dunk tank experience. To top it off, the Philadelphia Eagles Drumline will perform hourly, and a festival playlist curated by The Roots’ Questlove, Ava’s fictional former bandmate, will set the atmosphere.
